Burden – musings on a life that intersects mine
I had some big things happen to me and was thinking a lot when I wrote this.
You ultimately can only carry your own burden, along your own path
Sometimes you can accept someone elses but if you do it for more than a little while
They will keep adding load to you and you will be dealing with theirs not your own
And both of yours increase at the same rate. They more they palm off to you the harder it gets for them when they have to accept theirs back again Continue reading “Burden – musings on a life that intersects mine”
Crenelation – prose
Prose written when I was having a cranky moment about a truly awful person. Why does the best prose happen when I’m cross?

The word to describe it is crenelation
In cases like your people say ‘nice personality’
Sadly for you this just isn’t the case Continue reading “Crenelation – prose”

Tired – prose (about menopause)
This poem brought to you by hormonal fatigue, before a solution was implemented

Google history – prose. For a cheater who used the same handle for both legit and non legit internet interactions
An ode to…you know who you are…
*
I’m a really honest person
Sometimes a little flawed
I tend to go a creepin’
Whenever I get bored
I really love my boyfriend
He’s faithful only to me
I’m devoted to him too
Until I want a spree
My fiance was awesome
My cup of happy was so full
I just had to join an online site
Where I went straight on the pull Continue reading “Google history – prose. For a cheater who used the same handle for both legit and non legit internet interactions”
Echo Chamber – prose
I live in an echo chamber

Baby man – prose to a certain type of person
A small bit of prose dedicated to a certain someone
*
The thing that’s so sad
Is you’re so close to ‘good’
A small whisker off ‘nice’
If you just understood.
You’re often quite fun
Good looking and fit
If only you were not
So totally shit. Continue reading “Baby man – prose to a certain type of person”
The window – a poem about us
Until it broke it was hardened glass
Unyielding cold and smooth
Denying passage while pointing the way
Never rattling or loose
When it broke the illusion was gone
No reflection standing in
The outside world, once safely out
Now showing every sin Continue reading “The window – a poem about us”
